Accessibility Statement

We regard making the website accessible to people with disabilities as a core value, and we work to ensure that everyone can browse and shop on it comfortably, independently and equally.

1.Our commitment to accessibility

מילשי בעמ, the operator of the Meitalic website, believes that every person is entitled to an equal opportunity to enjoy the services and products we offer. We invest resources in making the website accessible and in continuously improving the user experience for people with disabilities (including visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities), out of the belief that equality and inclusion are an integral part of the brand's values.

3.Accessibility level of the website

The website has been made accessible to level WCAG 2.1 AA, as required by the regulations. The accessibility process includes ongoing checks of the website's pages and components, using both automated tools and manual testing, and we work to maintain the level of accessibility when adding new content and features.

4.Accessibility adjustments made on the website

  • Proper semantic structure: use of hierarchical headings, defined navigation regions (landmarks) and semantic HTML tags that allow quick orientation.
  • Color contrast: the text and background colors on the website meet the contrast ratios required at level AA.
  • Alternative text: images and meaningful graphic elements are accompanied by alternative text (alt text) describing their content.
  • Full support for Hebrew and right-to-left (RTL) direction: the Hebrew website is built right-to-left consistently across all pages.
  • Reduced animation: the website respects the system preference prefers-reduced-motion and reduces motion for users who are sensitive to it.
  • Accessible forms: form fields are accompanied by clear labels and explicit error messages.
  • Flexible text sizes: the display can be enlarged up to 200% without impairing the functioning of the page.
  • Mobile adaptation: the website is responsive and adapted for use on touch screens and mobile devices.

5.Keyboard navigation

The website can be fully operated using a keyboard only:

  • Moving between elements: the Tab key (and back with Shift+Tab).
  • Activating links and buttons: the Enter key or the space bar.
  • Closing pop-up windows and drawers (shopping cart, search): the Esc key.
  • A visible focus indicator accompanies the active element at every step.

6.Compatibility with assistive technologies

The website was built to be compatible with common screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver) and with screen magnification software, in the current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. We recommend using the latest versions of your browser and assistive technology for the best experience.

7.Known limitations

Despite our efforts to make all pages of the website accessible, some components or content may not yet be fully accessible, including:

  • Embedded third-party content (such as videos or external payment components), whose accessibility depends on the external provider.
  • Lifestyle images and older marketing content that may not yet have a full description.

If you come across a component that is not accessible, please let us know using the contact details below, and we will act to fix it as soon as possible.

8.Accessible customer service

Alongside making the website accessible, we offer a variety of service channels: phone, email and WhatsApp, so that every customer can choose the communication channel that suits them best. Orders can be placed with the assistance of a service representative for anyone who has difficulty completing a purchase independently on the website.

9.Accessibility coordinator

In accordance with the law, the company has appointed an accessibility coordinator whose role is to handle accessibility inquiries and promote service accessibility:

  • Name: [Accessibility coordinator name]

10.Feedback and accessibility inquiries

In your inquiry we recommend including: a description of the problem, the action you tried to perform, the address of the page where you encountered the difficulty, and the browser and assistive technology you used. We undertake to handle accessibility inquiries within a reasonable time and to update the person who contacted us on the outcome.
